1
Put on your safety equipment. This trick can be extremely dangerous and, if not done correctly or with safety gear, it can be hazardous to your health. Make sure you have a good helmet, elbow pads and knee pads. You might want to consider some type of wrist guard as well.

2
Get as much speed as you possibly can. The key factor in whether or not you'll be able to pull this trick off is having the right amount of speed. Make sure you have a nice distance to travel before hitting the ramp so that you can build speed. As you get closer to the lip of the ramp, stand up and pedal your bicycle to get as much speed as possible before hitting the ramp itself.
-
3
Bend your body over the bike and make sure your head stays forward as you approach the ramp. Also make sure your arms are bent at the elbow and that you keep your knees bent as well. This helps to build speed and balance.
-
4
Stop pedaling your bicycle as soon as you reach the ramp. Begin to get into the correct posture for the maneuver as soon as you hit the ramp.
-
5
Use your muscle strength to pull yourself up and away from the bike. As you do this, make sure to shift all of your weight to the back tire of the bicycle while pulling up on the handle bars.
-
6
Kick your bicycle out from underneath yourself. Push down and kick against the bicycle pedals to begin the rotation. It should feel like the bike is getting away from you, but your arms will help keep it in place during the actual trick.
-
7
Do a full 360-degree rotation and be sure to land on both tires. While in the middle of the rotation, be sure to keep your head back. It is also extremely important for safety's sake to land on both tires. Landing on one tire can cause you to wreck and get seriously injured.
