Honda Motorcycle Motor Specs

Honda began building motorcycles in 1949. As of 2010, the company manufactures motorcycles for both the street and off-road riding. Motor specifications vary significantly from model to model.
  1. 2010 Gold Wing

    • Honda builds the 2010 Gold Wind, a street touring motorcycle, around a 1832 cc liquid-cooled horizontally opposed six-cylinder engine. The engine features programmed fuel injection and a computer-controlled digital ignition. The engine also has a bore of 2.91 inches and a stroke of 2.8 inches. It has a compression ratio of 9.8 to 1.

    2011 CRF250R

    • The 2011 Honda CRF250R is an off-road motocross motorcycle with a 249 cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, four-stroke engine. It has a bore of 3.02 inches and a stroke of 2.12 inches. It features programmed fuel injection with a 1.97-inch throttle body. A full transistor with electronic advance starts the engine, which has a compression ratio of 13.2 to 1.

    2011 Fury

    • The Honda Fury is a street chopper. For 2011, the Fury features a 1312 cc liquid-cooled V-twin engine with a bore of 3.52 inches and a stroke of 4.11 inches. The engine features programmed fuel injection with automatic "enricher" circuit and a single 1.5-inch throttle body. The engine uses a digital ignition and has a compression ratio of 9.2 to 1.
