Honda TLR200 Specifications
-
Engine
-
The TLR200 used a 194-cc-displacement, four-stroke engine based on the design used for the Honda XR200. It featured an overhead camshaft chain drive and produced a maximum of 13.4 brake horsepower at 6,500 rpm. The engine could achieve a maximum torque of 13.027 ft-lb at 4,000 rpm.
Transmission
-
The TLR200 used a six-speed, constant mesh transmission system connecting the rear wheel to the drive system, gears and the clutch. This constant mesh transmission meant that each of the gears was in contact with the engine at all times. The bike also employed a wet multi-plate clutch to switch between gears.
Frame
-
The TLR200 used a diamond-type suspension system, where the frame forms a diamond around the engine block. The front suspension had a 33-millimeter (1.299 inch) diameter and 160-millimeter (6.299 inch) travel, while the rear suspension sported a swing arm with a 150-millimeter (5.91 inch) travel.
