Engine

The 2004 Yamaha Raptor 350 came with a single-cylinder, four-stroke, 348 cc engine with a single-overhead-camshaft (SOHC) configuration. The engine was paired with a six-speed, rear-wheel-drive, chain-driven transmission with reverse.
Suspension

Although the 2004 Raptor 350 relied on the same basic frame as the previous year's Warrior 350, it also used the same rear-swingarm linkage design as the much larger and more powerful Raptor 660. In addition, it came with a new piggyback shock system with a longer stroke on the rear end, as well as new shocks with dual-rate springs on the front end. The 2004 Raptor 350 was also 25 lb. lighter than its predecessor.
