How to Break in Alpinestar Tech 8 Boots

Alpinestars Tech 8 boots are made with leather and injection-molded plastic to create the safest and most comfortable ride possible. The boots are intended for motocross riding and feature steel shanks, toe guards and interchangeable soles. Breaking in these boots is more challenging than breaking in your average pair of work or dress boots, but the process is largely the same.

      Wear a pair of tall, thick boot socks with your new Tech 8 boots to provide your feet with maximum comfort during the break-in period.

      Wear your boots as much as possible. Because of the nature of motocross boots, you won't be able to wear them to work, school or other everyday activities, but you can still wear them around the house. The more you wear your boots, the more quickly they will break in.

      Ride with your new boots at least once a week. Riding in your boots is by far the best way to break them in, as track riding puts a lot of wear and tear on the boots in a short period of time.

      Give your feet a break from the boots when things get painful. Motocross boots such as Alpinestars will eventually break in, so don't force yourself into painful situations to hasten the process.
