How to Wear Adidas Boxing Boots

1
Lace up and tie the shoes tightly. The shoes should be fit around your feet like they were molded to them. A loose fit could cause blisters and stumbling in the ring.
-
2
Stay on the balls of your feet. When you are moving or punching, at least one foot should be raised onto its ball and toes at all times. The flat soles and ankle support are meant to maximize that position, so make the most of it.
-
3
Take care around any plastic artwork or designs in the ring. While the soles of Adidas boxing boots have some tread, they are still seriously lacking in traction. This is not a problem when you are on canvas, but you could slip on wet plastic, and that plastic will inevitably get wet from dripping sweat.
-
4
Add some flair to your boots. A common practice among professional boxers is to use decorative bootlaces, on the principle that anything that attracts attention and increases their profile is a good thing. Make sure the decorative flair does not have any possibility of getting underfoot to trip you up.
