There are no all-terrain-vehicle parks in Richmond, Virginia, itself but there are a few within driving distance of the city. An alternative is to ask permission from a landowner to ride on his land.
  1. ATV Parks with Fees

    • The area around Richmond has two ATV parks within a hour's drive. Slades Park, 50 minutes away in Surry, has trails through forest, a drag racing strip and a kids strip for safe riding. Across the border into Maryland, the Southern Maryland ATV park in Budds Creek open Fridays through Sundays. Helmets must be worn at all times in the parks.

    Private Land

    • ATVs can be ridden on private land with the permission of the owner. ATVs cannot be used on public highways except in Buchanan County and if the driver has to cross the road.
