Improve your caster boarding skills with a balancing trick called the nose manual. Place your lead foot onto the front platform of the Wave board. Push off the ground with your back foot until you reach a comfortable speed. Align your pushing foot onto the rear platform of the Wave board. Apply pressure to the front platform of the Wave board. Lean forward to lift the back wheel off the ground. Balance on the front wheel to perform the nose manual.
Ollie

The ollie is an aerial maneuver that allows you to leap over cracks in the sidewalk. Push off the ground with your back foot to increase the momentum of the Wave board. Bend your knees to balance your Wave boarding stance. Push down of the rear platform until it makes contact with the pavement. Jump vertically to lift the Wave board wheels. Push down on the front platform to level out the board. Bend your knees as the wheels land on the pavement.
Body Variel

Switch up your riding stance with a quick trick known as the body variel. Push off the pavement to gain speed. Street Surfing recommends bending your knees slightly as you reach a comfortable speed. Spread your feet shoulder width apart on the platforms of the Wave board. Jump above the Wave board while rotating your shoulders. Lift your knees to ensure you have enough time to complete a 180-degree spin. Land on the Wave board in the opposite riding stance to complete the body variel.
Heelflip
-
The heelflip consists of flipping the Wave board in the air. Thurst the Wave board forward by pushing off the ground. Apply downward pressure to the rear platform. Leap vertically to lift the Wave board off the ground. Kick the heel of your lead foot against the outer edge of the front platform. Lift your knees to allow the Wave board to spin. Lower your feet as the board flips around. Bend your knees as the wheels land on the ground.
