1
Draw a triangular side-panel for your ramp on a piece of 3/4" plywood. This piece will define the shape of your ramp, including height, length, and launch angle, so be sure it looks exactly how you want your ramp to look from the side. Cut out this side panel piece using a hand held saw. Trace the outline of the first side panel onto a second sheet of 3/4" plywood. Cut this one out in the same manner.

2
Draw a rectangular ramp face on a sheet of 1/2" plywood. The ramp face can be as wide as you like, but needs to be the same length as the longest edge of your triangular side panels. Cut out the ramp face with a hand held saw.
-
3
Cut a piece of 2x4 one inch shorter than the width of the side panel for every four inches of its length. For example, if your ramp face is 24" wide and 36" long, you should cut out 9 2x4 pieces each 23" long. These pieces will act as a brace for the ramp face.

4
Using wood screws and a hand held drill, attach a piece of 2x4 between the two side panels at the very top of the ramp. Four inches down the top edge of the side panels, attach another 2x4. Repeat this procedure to attach all of the 2x4 planks.
-
5
Lay the rectangular ramp face over the top of the ramp. Use wood screws to attach the ramp race to the 2x4 pieces underneath. Be sure that the lower edge of the face sits flush against the ground, or it will be difficult to ride up onto the ramp.
