Instructions

    • 1

Lay the ¾-inch plywood sheet on the ground horizontally. Measure up the left side of the board 36 inches with the tape measure. Make a mark on the edge of the plywood with the pencil.

    • 2

Measure 24 inches inward from the mark and make another mark with the pencil. Place a straight edge on the two marks and draw a line connecting them. Draw a curved slope from the edge of second mark down to the ground. This will be one side of the ramp.

    • 3

Cut along the lines on the plywood with the circular saw. Place the cut piece on another plywood sheet and trace around the cut piece. This will make an outline for the other side of the ramp. Cut around the outline with the circular saw.

    • 4

Set up the two sides of the ramp so they are parallel to each other.

    • 5

Place one of the 2-by-4 boards in-between the two side pieces, starting in the lower left corner. Drive two wood screws into each piece of plywood and into the 2-by-4 board with the power drill.

    • 6

Place a second 2-by-4 board in the upper right corner and secure it to the plywood. Set a third 2-by-4 board on the other side where the edge of the plywood is close to the ground. Secure the 2-by-4 board to the plywood. Set the last 2-by-4 board at the top or curved edge of the plywood and secure it with the wood screws.

    • 7

Measure down the 4-foot side of a ¼-inch plywood sheet and make a mark every 24 inches. Cut the plywood sheet into four 2-foot sections with the circular saw. Repeat this step on a second plywood sheet.

    • 8

Place the 2-foot sections of ¼-inch plywood on the frame of the ramp. Secure the plywood to the frame with the wood screws.

    • 9

Repeat this process to build a second 3-foot ramp.
