Kalama Skate Park

Kalama Skate Park is a free skate park that is run by the county of Maui and located inside Kalama Park. The skate park sits near the ocean, allowing skateboarders to be surrounded by a serene, beautiful setting. Kalama skate park features courses to challenge beginner through advanced skaters. The park has a street course with numerous banks, quarter-pipes and spines. There is a concrete bowl, 9-feet ramp, and a variety of other ramps to satisfy your daredevil desires.

Stone Wave Sk8park

Stone Wave Sk8park is run by the Pa'ia Youth and Cultural Center Skate Park, which offers a variety of activities for children on Maui. The park is closed on rainy days, as well as every Sunday and Monday, as of 2010. A guardian must sign a waiver before his child is allowed to skate and all skaters must wear a helmet. A one year membership costs $40 and reduces the park entry fee from $5 to $2. The park hosts skating events and will host parties after, but not during, work hours.

Hickam Skate Hanger

Hickham is a skate park for skateboarders, as well as incline and roller skaters, scooters, wave and snake boarders and even BMX riders. Because this park is located on Hickam Air Force Base, you must have a military ID, sponsor or special permission to be allowed on base, and therefore into the park. There is a full-service concession stand at the park which sells skating accessories, skateboards and refreshments. Children must be 6 years old to use the facilities and children must be 11 to skate without adult supervision. Skaters can rent a skateboard and pads and novice skateboarders can purchase lessons.
