    • The skateboard park in Washington with the best view is most likely the Ben Root Skate Park. This 7,500 square foot, cement skate park is located in Alice Parchman Newland Park and offers a view of Fidalgo Bay. It also includes parking, a drinking fountain, lights, seating and restrooms nearby.

    Graffiti Island Skate Park

    • Graffiti Island Skate Park is a private skateboard park near Redmond, Washington. Although this park has all the ramps and walls you would expect from a decent skateboard park, the main attraction is the graffiti wall, where young writers perfect their "tags."

    Bellingham Skate Park

    • The Bellingham Skate Park is free of admission and features more than 13,000 square feet of fun with a ledge, vertical wall, loading dock with ramp, flat pad, inclined wall, flat rail, death cup and upper-level streetscape.

    Skate Barn West

    • The Skate Barn, at 45,000 square feet, claims to be the largest indoor skateboard. The Skate Barn is open until 10 p.m. every day and features classes, competitions, a shop and birthday parties. The layout includes halfpipes, a simulated street course, high-speed platforms, a vert and several other ramps.

    Burien Skate Park

    • In 2001, Nakano Associated architectural firm designed the award-winning Burien Skate Park. This 7,500-square-foot concrete, outdoor park features separate areas for skateboarders and blade skaters with ramps, bowls and ledges.

    Inner Space Indoor Skateboard

    • Inner Space Indoor Skateboard in Seattle was remodeled in 2010 to include new ramps, stairs and rails. At 7,000 square feet, Seattle's only indoor skateboard park packs a lot into the package. It sponsors its own team and has hosted demos with Nike, Matix, Goods, 35th North and others. Inner Space has a shop that sells skateboards, accessories, food and beverages, and it rents boards. Admission fees are charged by the hour, day or year. The park can be rented for special occasions.
