Instructions

1
Set the snakeboard on level ground. Place one foot evenly on each footplate. Some boards may feature bindings on the footplate. Place your feet inside the bindings and tighten the straps on the bindings to secure your feet.
-
2
Turn your toes in toward the center of the board, pivoting the ends of the board inward, and place your arms at the side of your body opposite the direction you intend to go.
-
3
Turn your toes out and swing your arms in the direction you would like to propel the snakeboard. The board will start to roll.
-
4
Turn your toes in and swing your arms back to their beginning position. Repeat Steps 3 and 4 repeatedly to maintain momentum.
-
5
Stop pivoting your feet if you want to slow the snakeboard in preparation for a stop. Allow the board to slow before hopping off or removing your feet from the bindings. For a quick stop, use your rear foot to push the end of the board forward, creating a sliding action.
