The store should carry a wide variety of styles and colors of grip tape from which to choose. The employees will typically install the grip tape for free when you purchase it.

      Check online retailers for infinite types, colors and designs of grip tape. The Internet is the best place to find even the most obscure color or design. Looking for camouflage, cheetah print or tie dye colored grip tape? Internet retailers are selling them along with every other possible color imaginable.

      Color your own grip tape. Most retailers sell clear or white grip tape. Purchase a sheet of clear or white grip tape and apply it to your board. Next, purchase a package of multi-colored permanent markers from an art store or large box retailer. Use the markers to apply any color or design you can think of to your grip tape. Because grip tape is so abrasive, apply the color slowly to allow it to sink into the tape.
