How to Remove Grip Tape

As its name implies, grip tape is what allows a skateboarder to keep a grip on his board while performing the amazing and complicated tricks associated with the sport. Recognizable by the gritty substance covering the top of most skateboards, the grip tape is important for any skateboard. However, grip tape will eventually wear down and need to be replaced. Remove the old grip tape before applying a new layer to ensure proper grip on your skateboard each time you ride.
