How to Clean Clear Grip Tape

Skateboard grip tape is designed to help you stick to the board during skating. Grip tape is found on the surface of most commercially produced skateboards and can be purchased separately for replacement or board construction. It is sold in long strips to cover the surface of your skateboard. It has the texture of sandpaper with an adhesive backing so it will stick firmly to your board. With use, your grip tape will become dirty and less efficient. Clear grip tape shows dirt more prominently and requires thorough cleaning and maintenance to maintain the look of your skateboard.
