Tae Bo is an intense cardiovascular workout that combines the martial arts moves of Tae Kwan Do with traditional boxing techniques. Performing Tae Bo is often done within your own home using an instructional DVD. The exercise routine is an effective workout if you follow through with the regimen and practice to improve your form. Instructions

    • 1

Make an exercise space in the living room, bedroom or wherever helps you focus. Allow enough room to stretch out and move adequately without obstruction.

    • 2

Turn on the TV and DVD player. Insert the Tae Bo DVD. Turn up the volume.

    • 3

Copy the instructions on the Tae Bo video, following the workouts as accurately as possible. For the first session, concentrate on learning the moves properly rather than trying to keep up with the instructor.

    • 4

Keep hydrated by drinking plenty of water throughout the workout session.

    • 5

When the session is over, use a towel to dry off and do some gentle stretching exercises. These stretches act as a warm down and help to prevent muscle strains and aches.
