Sportline 226 Stopwatch Instructions

The Sportline 226 is an electronic stopwatch designed for timing sporting events and other outdoor activities. The 226 features time and calendar display. A 12/24-hour format with minutes and seconds is accompanied by month, date and day of the week. The stopwatch records time to an accuracy of 1/100-second for the first 30 minutes, then to an accuracy of one second for up to 24 hours. It is water resistant and uses a single LR44 battery.

Instructions

  1. Function Keys

    • 1

      Press function key A, located at the 12 o'clock position on the top of the stopwatch, to cycle from normal time mode to stopwatch mode to alarm time mode.

      Press function key B, on the right side of the stopwatch, to switch between normal time and month/date.

      Press function key C, on the left side of the stopwatch, to toggle between normal time and alarm time.

    Stopwatch Mode

      Press function key A to enter stopwatch mode. Press function key B to begin timing. Press B function key again to stop timing. To reset time to zero press function key C.

      Measure split times by pressing function key B to begin timing. Press function key C to split timing. Press function key C again to release split timing. Press function key B to stop timing. To reset time to zero press function key C on the watch is stopped.

      Display the time gap between two competitors by pressing function key B to begin timing. Press function key C to split timing when the first competitor finishes. Press function key B when second competitor finishes. Press function key C to display the difference between the two competitors. To reset time to zero press function key C again.

    Time/Calendar Setting

      Press function key A three times to enter the Time/Calendar mode.

      Press function key C to cycle through these settings: Seconds, minutes, hour, date, month, day. Press function key B to increase each setting value.

      Press function key A once to return to the normal mode.
