How to Make Your P90X Journal

To get through the P90X program you need to press play on your video player and follow the daily workouts for 13 weeks. That can be a long time to stay on task. The "P90X Fitness Guide" recommends tracking your workouts to keep yourself on top of your schedule. Create a P90X journal that documents every workout from day one to day 90 of the program.

Instructions

    • 1

Place the loose leaf in your binder.

    • 2

Write an entry on a page every time you do a P90X workout. Include the date of the workout and the name of the workout at the top of each entry as well as the week of the program, for future reference.

    • 3

Make a note in your entries of any areas of the workout that your struggled with or any areas that you made modifications. Some workouts include a bonus round; note whether or not you performed the bonus round.

    • 4

Punch holes in the P90X worksheets using the three-hole punch and insert them in the back of the binder.

    • 5

Fill in the P90X worksheets each time you do a resistance routine. Include the date and week of the program and fill in the number of reps and the weight that you used for exercises using dumbbells. If you use resistance bands in place of dumbbells, note the color of the band.

Create an entry on day one, day 30, day 60 and day 90 which documents your weight or other body measurements such as your waist, hips, chest and biceps measurements if you want to track the changes in your body.
