How to Use Map It With Nike

Nike has created an advanced pedometer for walkers and runners. This device tracks your mileage, pace, rate of speed and calories. You can upload your run data from the device and use the interactive "map it" application. The critical piece that must be used is a sensor that must get placed in your running shoe. Nike has created a line of shoes that will accommodate the sensor. There's a cutout beneath the insole of one shoe. The sensor goes into the cutout and the insole gets put back into place. It's lightweight and you don't notice it at all when walking or running. The sensor speaks to a device that can display the progress of your run. You can use an iPod nano, iPod touch, iPhone 3GS or iPhone 4, or you can use the SportBand made by Nike.
