How to Set Up a Spinning Bicycle
Modern day gym equipment can sometimes seem too complex to handle, with most machines featuring fancy digital readout pads, complicated contraptions and adjustment hubs. Fortunately, the spinning bike has changed little over the years. Most are made of high-grade aluminum and are very sleek in design, with an adjustment setup similar to that of a common bicycle.

1
Kneel beside the bike and look for the seat adjustment. Set the height of your bike seat at your hip level.
-
2
Look for the seat angle adjustment knob. Seat angle is a matter of personal preference. Make sure the seat angle is right for you by actually sitting on the saddle.
-
3
Adjust the height of the handle bars so they are parallel to the height of your seat. This gives your body an angle suitable for exercise. Set the resistance level based on your current stamina and leg strength. The resistance knob is often found just below the handle bars.
