How to Rent Treadmills
Instructions

-
1
Find a local company that rents treadmills. Sporting goods retailers and gyms often rent treadmills. Visit several stores, because each will offer different brands and models.
-
2
Find out what model treadmills the company has available for rent. You should be able to try out several treadmills in the store.
-
3
Ask about the age and maintenance history of the rental treadmills. A newer, well-maintained treadmill is less likely to give you trouble.
-
4
Learn the dimensions of the treadmill you are considering. Make sure you have an area in your home that is large enough to accommodate the treadmill plus enough extra space around it for easy access and safety. The area you select for the treadmill must have an electrical outlet nearby.
-
5
Find out what the delivery and setup fees are. Make sure the delivery people will carry the treadmill into your home, set it up in the location of your choice and show you how to operate the machine.
-
6
Read the rental contract carefully before signing it. Look for the length of the contract, early cancellation fees, monthly fee, deposits, who is responsible for maintenance and repair, your responsibility for damage to the treadmill, insurance requirements, if you can easily exchange the treadmill for a different model and what the fee is to deliver and set up a new treadmill.
