How to Make My Chest Stronger
Instructions

-
1
Do a chest workout twice a week. Resting the chest muscles on your off days helps the muscles to heal and grow stronger.
-
2
Focus on doing heavier weight with each chest exercise and fewer repetitions. This helps grow your chest muscles and makes them stronger.
-
3
Use the traditional bench press to make your chest stronger. Bench press as much weight as you possibly can. Your chest will become stronger if you bench press a heavier weight with five repetitions than a lighter weight with 12 repetitions.
-
4
Do dips on the captain's chair. Face forward and place your hands onto the protruding bars. Lift your feet off the ground and bend your elbows to dip. Do this as many times as you can.
-
5
Add push-ups to your chest strength training workout. Push-ups work out your chest and the surrounding muscles, which helps you become stronger faster.
-
6
Put a weight on your back to do push-ups when they become too easy on their own. Just a 10-lb. weight can make the exercise much more challenging for your chest muscles.
-
7
Include the cable lying fly exercise in your chest workout. Put the pulley cables on the lower peg and increase the weight as much as you can. Lie down between the pulleys on a flat bench and hold each pulley handle in each handle. Bring the cables toward you, keeping your arms straight. Again, focus on higher weight and fewer reps.
