A "no talent" show
-
This fundraiser would be fun for kids to help with. Obtain a karaoke machine. There are many places you can rent machines, or they are fairly inexpensive to buy. Then, obtain a venue to host the event. Often a school or community hall would work well.
The most important part of making this fundraiser successful is to make sure you have enough kids and adults attend the event to make it profitable.
Every person that comes has to be willing to get up and sing, so make sure they know that. People can pay money for someone to sing a song. For example, a group of people could pay $10 for the sponsor of the group to sing an embarrassing song. If the sponsor doesn't want to sing, he or she has to pay $1 more than the amount raised to get out of it.
Another way to make more money on this is to ask businesses to donate prizes for "worst singing" and "best singing" of the night to entice people to get up and sing, or you could record the event and sell DVDs for a profit.
Online Selling

Having students make a commitment to the cause and volunteering are sometimes problems when dealing with teenagers. People lead very busy lives, and don't always have much free time to volunteer, let alone an entire Saturday for a car wash. Children and teenagers spend much of their free time on the Internet, so why not capitalize on that?
Ask each student to find three things worth selling on the Internet. These things can be donated from teachers, neighbors or friends. Instead of these students going door to door asking people to spend money or buy unhealthy food, it is much easier to ask if they have anything that they don't use anymore.
Find a reliable online source where you can post your items for sale. This could be local classifieds or a commercial website. Each student must then try to market their three products the best they can to sell them. The cost for advertisement is minimal compared to the 100 percent profit you will make on the cost of the item.
Get the Picture

The idea of this fundraiser is to offer a variety of portraits for patrons, including glamor shots, family pictures, vintage pictures and other fun ideas. Costumes and props could be donated from local theater companies or school organizations.
Find a location to host this event, with private rooms for changing clothes. Arrange for backgrounds and waiting areas. Local photographers may be willing to provide services or props for free or reduced cost.
Pre-sell as many appointments as you can for people to sign up for a time to get family pictures taken, or they can have pictures taken with their friends.
Offer a variety of pictures and a packages for people to buy. You could use school journalism cameras as well as your own to take the pictures. Modern digital cameras take quality pictures. You can get them printed by a local vendor, and sell them to make a large profit. The best scenario would be to find a professional photographer to donate their time.
