Instructions
-
Hood
-
1
Use a tenugui (thin Japanese hand towel made of cotton) or a thin piece of cloth about 15 to 35 inches. You will need two pieces of cloth; one for the hood and one for the mask.
-
2
Hold one piece of cloth up to your head, one end in each hand.
-
3
Pull your arms back toward you, wrap the cloth around your head and tie it in the back of your head. Make a standard tie by crossing the right side of the cloth over the left side. Feed the right side through the opening made by the crossover and pull both ends to tighten the cloth around your head. Be sure the cloth completely covers your head and ears.
-
4
Pull the cloth down below your eyebrows.
Mask
-
5
Use the second piece of cloth and hold it up to your face with both hands on each end of the cloth.
-
6
Pull your arms back toward you, wrap the cloth around your head and tie it in the back of your head. Cross the right side of the cloth over the left side and feed the right end through the opening in the middle. Bring the tie up and above the hood and tie it behind your head.
-
7
Pull both ends of the cloth tight and be sure the mask covers your mouth and nose.
