How to Mount Windline Anchor Holders

Windline makes marine products for pleasure and commercial boating. One required piece of gear for a boat is an anchor. Anchors are heavy and awkward to move around, making a holder a handy piece of nautical equipment for your boat. Windline makes anchor holders that mount to the rails of the boat, allowing you easy access to drop and raise the tethering boat weight.

Instructions

    • 1

Remove the retaining nuts from the bottom of the railing loops on the Windline anchor holder. Push the metal loops up and out of the holder.

    • 2

Place the loops over the railing area where you want the anchor located. Push the anchor holder up to the metal loops and align them so the ends of the loops go into the anchor holder's retaining holes (where you removed the nuts).

    • 3

Tighten the retaining nuts to the threaded ends of the metal loops to secure the holder to the railings. Push and pull on the holder to make sure the loops have a tight grip on the rails and there is no lateral movement.

    • 4

Slide the arms of the anchor into the sleeves of the Windline anchor holder and let the handle sit in the holder's cradle.
