How to Wire a 12/24 Volt Evinrude Trolling Motor

While Evinrude is mostly known for making outboard boat motors, the company also made smaller trolling motors as well. Trolling motors are small, portable motors that are lightweight and quiet. Trolling motors, which are electric and connect directly to a 12-volt marine battery, are often used by fishermen while they are trolling for fish. Evinrude made the 12/24 trolling motor between 1974 and 1979. The 12/24 connects has three wires running from it that connect to two batteries.
