1
Disconnect the electrical coupling between the trailer and car. Test the left turn signal to see if it is operational. If it works, reconnect the connector. Otherwise move on to the next step.
-
2
Remove the plastic lens housing on the left-hand side of the trailer by removing the screws with the Phillips screwdriver and lifting the housing off of the bracket. Remove the light bulb by turning it one half turn and pulling the light out. Inspect the bulb to see if the filament is still intact. If not, replace the bulb with a new one and see if the turn signal works.

3
Inspect the wires at both the light assembly and the connector to the car. Ensure that the wires are intact and not worn or disconnected. If the wires are disconnected at either location, strip a portion of the protective coating off of the wire and reconnect the wire to the light assembly or connector.

4
Remove and inspect the trailer fuse for the turn signals. Observe the fuse, which is similar to an automotive fuse. If you notice the metal strip is broken, replace the fuse.
-
5
Replace the plastic lens assembly and your Viking pop-up camper is ready to hit the road.
