1
Attach tree straps or rope to the grommets at each end of the bivy tent. Hang the bivy tent by securing each end to a tree or another sturdy object.
-
2
Fully extend the shock-corded tent poles and lock them into position.
-
3
Slide one of the tent poles through the sewn-on sleeve located across the width of the bivy tent. Put one end of the tent pole into the corresponding metal pin at the base of the tent. Gently arc the pole and put the other end into the opposite metal pin. Repeat for the remaining tent pole on the other end of the tent.
-
4
Fasten the plastic clips from the tent body to the tent poles to secure the tent frame.
-
5
Spread the rain fly over the bivy tent. Fasten the clips on each end of the tent. Secure the hook-and-loop fasteners underneath the rain fly to the tent frame.
