1
Screw the propane canister into the stove. Screw the stove top clockwise until you reach resistance and your turning stops.
-
2
Turn the fuel flow dial to "start" or slightly counterclockwise (if your Gaz stove does not have the start indicator). Click the piezo-electric starter to spark the fuel into flame. Listen for the fuel flow to ensure that the propane is entering into the stove burner. If the stove does not start after three clicks, turn the fuel flow off and let the excess propane dissipate. Turn the fuel flow back on and try again, or use the flame from a lighter to start the stove.
-
3
Adjust the fuel flow dial until the flame is burning an orange color toward the base and blue flames near the top. Place the cookware or pots on the flames and boil water or cook your meal.
-
4
Turn the dial all the way clockwise to turn off the fuel flow when you're done cooking. Let the stove burner cool down and then unscrew the stove burner from the canister. Place it in a storage bag until you are ready for the next use.
