How to Make Salt Dough Picture Frames
Salt and flour create a homemade dough-like material that can be formed to make crafty items. Once it dries and hardens, it is long-lasting. Making such items as photo frames from salt dough isn't difficult and requires very minimal materials. Making your own dough photo frames gives you the ability to create custom frames for your photos and drawings, and they are easy to decorate.

Apply a strip of glue along the surface of each cardboard strip. Place a strip of dough directly on top of each strip. Squeeze a dot of glue on the ends of each dough-covered stick and then connect them into the shape of a frame. Let it dry for about three weeks. This is to ensure that the dough has hardened.
