    Michigan Shore-To-Shore Trail

    • The Michigan Trail Riders Association maintains the Shore-To-Shore Trail. The trail, starting at Lake Michigan in Empire and ending at Lake Huron near Oscada, contains campgrounds every 18 to 25 miles, according to the state's travel and tourism website. Campgrounds, many of which overlook state rivers and lakes, contain wells and privies. Vacationers must be MTRA members to have access to the Shore-To-Shore Trail and activities. Riders attend nightly meetings in order to prepare for the following day's ride. Participants that complete the trail on scheduled days are eligible to receive a trophy from the MTRA, according to the MTRA's Trail Rider FAQ guide.

    Wolf Lake Ranch Resort

    • This resort, located near Baldwin, provides guests with trail rides, sport activities, games and access to the Wolf Lake beach. Guests can participate in two daily trail rides as well as one weekly breakfast ride, according to the resort's website.
