1
Remove the lid from the bottle and drill a hole in the center of it that is slightly smaller than the diameter of the plastic tubing. For instance, if you are using tubing that is 7/16-inch in diameter, drill a hole that is 3/18-inch in diameter.
-
2
Insert the tubing through the hole in the cap so that there is about 1/4-inch coming out of the portion of the cap that faces the inside of the bottle. Apply epoxy to the hole in the cap to secure the tubing in place.
-
3
Create a loop in the remainder of the hose by twisting it around itself once. This will slow the drip of the scent. Secure the loop in place with zip ties.
-
4
Paint the lid, tubing and zip ties black using flat black paint.
-
5
Measure and cut 12 inches of string. Super glue this to the bottom of the bottle so you can hang the drip bag from a tree.
-
6
Wrap bubble wrap around the exterior of the bottle so there are two lengths of it around the bottle. Secure the bubble wrap by super gluing it to the bottle.
-
7
Measure and cut two pieces of camouflage fabric large enough to cover the bottle. Place the back sides together and then sew three sides of the pieces together using your needle and thread. On the side opposite the open side, leave a small opening through which you will put the plastic tubing.
-
8
Fill the bottle with the scent of your choice and replace the cap. Slip the camouflage bag over the bottle with open side pointed toward the bottom of the bottle. Thread the tubing through the slit in the opposite side, and pull the string through the opening in the top. Tie the bag shut with another piece of string, so the string attached to the bottle is sticking out.
-
9
Leave the bag outside for a week to remove the human scent from it, then hang the bottle from a tree to attract deer.
