1
Apply a small amount of REM oil to the silicone cloth, then buff this into the exterior surfaces of the gun's barrel. If you have a scope on the air rifle, it is best to either remove it or at least cover the lens to prevent oil from touching the glass.
-
2
Buff the oil into the barrel of the Silver Bear, including the tip of the barrel and into the ports at the end of the barrel. Don't worry about getting a small amount of oil on the stock of the rifle; just wipe it away with a clean rag or paper towel.
-
3
Disengage the barrel break where the air rifle is loaded and apply a drop of MP5 oil into both sides, but do not cock the air rifle. Just allow it to remain open at the point where the tension of the rifle begins to engage.
-
4
Run the rifle cleaning brush into both sides of the barrel while it is open, twisting and pulling on the stock side to remove any debris. Insert the cleaning brush into the barrel side of the air gun to push debris out of the end of the barrel.
