How to Use the Duck Straps With Metal Loops

A game carriers, or "duck strap" as it is often called, is a hands-free carrying device designed to transport your game birds while in the field. It consists of a shoulder strap with a metal loop and rails at both ends. After securing the birds to the game strap, a hunter slings the strap over the shoulder for easy game transport. A duck strap frees your hands so you can carry you shotgun, shells, decoys and other necessities in addition to the day's bag of ducks and geese.

Instructions

    • 1

Squeeze the duck strap's metal rails together.

    • 2

Unhook the latch that connects the metal rails.

    • 3

Insert a bird's head into the wide opening at the top of the metal rail.

    • 4

Slide the bird's neck down to the end of the metal rail. Gravity and the bird's head hold it in place and prevent it from falling out.

    • 6

Squeeze the rails together and hook the latch after all the birds are on the duck strap.

    • 7
