How to Replace the Ignition Coil on a 1993 Seadoo XP
An ignition coil on the Sea Doo XP helps the personal watercraft start and stay running. If one becomes worn, the Sea Doo may backfire or it may not start at all. Replacement ignition coils are sold at marine dealers and distributors, or they can be ordered directly from the manufacturer. Three ignition coils are attached to the three spark plugs on the cylinder head of the engine. It will take approximately 30 to 45 minutes to replace the ignition coil.
