How to Transport a Jet Ski

Transporting the jet ski from one body of water to another is requires a trailer and a hitch. Here's how to safely transport your jet ski to its next destination.

      Load the jet ski unto the trailer by backing the trailer into the water far enough to drive the jet ski up on the guides. Have a rope attached to the jet ski. Pull the ski on to the trailer.

      Pull the jet ski and trailer from the water, stopping near the launching area to check all chains. Make sure your jet ski is securely fastened to the trailer.

      Check to make sure the trailer hitch is tightly fit onto the ball of the vehicle. Secure the ball hitch in place.

      Connect the wires that control the brake and directional lights. Make sure your trailer lights are working properly before pulling the trailer anywhere.
