Adventures Unlimited
-
Adventures Unlimited has three zipline adventures for a canopy tour of beautiful Northern Florida. The first tour, Forest Flight, consists of nine ziplines that cross the Spring Hill Dam, the Schoolhouse Inn and ends on the roof of the Adventures Unlimited Store. After completing Forest Flight, you may elect to continue with the Soaring Stream tour, with an additional five ziplines. The lines lead to two 60-foot towers and provide a spectacular view of Coldwater Creek. You will walk the sky bridge, where you can see canoes, tubes and kayaks on the river below. The third tour, The Ultimate Zip Adventure, takes you over Wolfe Creek and Big Coldwater Creek. Although the ziplines are only one-mile long, the entire tour takes five hours to complete because there are also 14 observation platforms and two sky bridges to traverse. If you climb the spiral staircase to the aviary, you can experience a bird's-eye-view from Hawk's Nest Tower to Ox Box Lake and Coldwater Creek.

Considerations
-
While ziplining is a fun adventure, it also a type of thrill ride, which means that this activity may not be suitable for people in poor health or women who are pregnant. If you are scared of heights, you may want to avoid ziplining not only because the ziplines are high in the air, but also because there may be steep climbing involved in order to get to launch points. Before you take a canopy tour in Florida or elsewhere, call the touring company ahead of time to see if there is availability and if they require a minimum number of tourists per tour.
