1
Wear small, light wigs when participating in physical activities. Heavier wigs may be more prone to falling off or to shifting position on your head.
-
2
Leave your wig alone. Don't adjust it or touch it repeatedly as your play your game. Messing with the wig will cause it to shift position or to fall off.
-
3
Attach the wig to your hair with bobby pins. If you have hair, you can secure your wig with a handful of bobby pins. Just clip the bobby pins to the mesh of your wig and then to your own hair.

Take your wig to a specialist or wig store and have a wire mesh added. This can be an invaluable tool for keeping the wig in place on your head. If you don't already have one, a wig specialist can attach one into the lining of the wig. The mesh fits comfortably around your head and stays tight, holding the wig still.

5
Purchase two-sided adhesive wig tape. The two sided tape can be found at any wig retailer and sticks to both your head and the inside of the wig. Preferably, you'll want tabs inside your wig to stick the tape onto. If your wig doesn't already have tabs, you can have them added.
