How to Replace Elastic Bands on a Trampoline

Springless trampolines have grown in popularity because of their safety and longevity. One of the most commons types of springless trampolines uses elastic bands as its "spring." Elastic bands are stretched tight and sewn directly into a mat to provide the tension required. The bands are not designed to be replaced. Built for longevity, the elastic bands should last for several years, though the mat be replaceable through warranty if the elastic bands fail prematurely.

Instructions

    • 1

Purchase a replacement mat with built-in elastic bands.

    • 2

Attach two alternate sides of the trampoline to the frame. Use a strap tool to help give you a hold on the mat to pull it to the frame.

    • 3

Connect the elastic bands to the frame at points directly across from one another. Continue in this pattern around the entire frame. This will help you to easily connect all the bands and not leave you with a final section you're unable to pull tight.
