Spongebob Squarepants Go Fly a Kite Assembly Instructions

Flying a kite is an enjoyable pastime that many parents want to pass on to their children. Kites come in many shapes and styles from simple, diamond-shaped polyester fabric to more complex parafoil patterns that are large and capable of lifting full grown men off the ground. The Spongebob Squarepants "Go Fly a Kite" kite is a basic 24-inch long, diamond-shaped polyester kite. The kite comes packaged ready to fly so that even the rustiest of parents can help their children take the kite out of the bag and fly it in no time.

      Select an open spot at a park or uncrowded grassy area to fly your Spongebob Squarepants kite with your child. Remove the kite from its packaging. Verify that you have a 24-inch Spongebob Squarepants kite, one handle spooled with line and one easy clip kite connector.

      Attach the easy clip kite connector to the back left and right sides of the Spongebob Squarepants kite. Fit each end of the connector into the small plastic rivets on either side of the kite. Verify that one end of the string or line is securely fastened around the middle of the easy clip kite connector.

      Unroll the line from the handle until you have about 10 feet of unspooled line. Give your child the handle and instruct him to hold onto it tightly. Raise the Spongebob Squarepants kite above your head with an outstretched arm and begin running with your child, in unison. Let go of the kite and instruct your child to allow more string or line to unspool as the wind lifts the kite up into the air.
