Adjustment
-
1
Turn the sight adjustment screw on the top front of the sight assembly with the screwdriver. Turn it clockwise for downward pitch, or counterclockwise for upward pitch.
-
2
Adjust the rear screw on the right side of the sight assembly with the screwdriver for windage. Turn the screw clockwise to move the rear sight to the right, or turn it counterclockwise to move the sight left.
-
3
Tighten the main screw for the rear sight assembly located at the front to lock the adjustments into place.
Replacement
-
4
Loosen the main screw from the rear sight assembly located at the front and remove it. Turn both adjustment screws counterclockwise to loosen them.
-
5
Slide the entire rear sight assembly toward the back of the revolver, then pull up on it to remove it from the revolver's frame. Remove the rear sight adjustment spring and set it aside.
-
6
Insert a new rear sight spring where the old one was removed.
-
7
Slide the new rear sight assembly onto the revolver's frame, then slide it forward. Insert the main assembly screw into the hole at the front, but do not tighten it completely. Simply thread it in to hold the sight assembly in place.
-
8
Adjust the windage and elevation screws as needed. Once the sight lines up where you want it, completely tighten the main screw at the front of the assembly.
