How to Use a Barrel Extension on the M4

The M4-style paintball rifle is patterned after the modern tactical rifle M4 issued to U.S. military soldiers. If you have one of the model paintball rifles and wish to use the M4 barrel extender, it is a quick and simple task. The extender is more of an aesthetic accessory although it adds an added level of grip to the rifle. The extender is made to go on without tools so it is useable in the field during paintball games.

      Ensure the M4 safety is engaged to "On" and point it in a safe direction.

      Slide the M4 barrel extender over the front of the M4 barrel, keeping the narrow end over the barrel and the wider end facing out.

      Screw the extender so it tightens over the barrel; make sure to turn the extender clockwise to tighten and secure and counterclockwise to loosen and remove.

      Turn the barrel while securing until the side etching/markings are on the right-hand side of the rifle.
