How to Use the Satmap Compass

Satmap is an electronic navigation device sold in U.K. markets. The device utilizes satellite technology, providing your current location via GPS signals. A full electronic compass function complements the Satmap device and is accessed using the touchscreen provided on the Satmap unit. A device like the Satmap needs to be used as a secondary navigation aid, not as the only source of location. Be prepared by also having a map and compass to use should the device have dead batteries or malfunction.
