How to Install a CO2 Airsoft

Airsoft makes air and compressed-gas-powered weapons that fire soft foam pellets. These air guns are used for target shooting or war games, much like paintball. Many of Airsoft's products use its "GreenGas" canister, a canister of compressed CO2 gas inserted in the proper valve on the weapon. If you use the Airsoft weapons for simulated war games, always wear eye and safety protection. When installing the CO2 gas, treat the weapon as if it is loaded for your protection.

Instructions

    • 1

Expose the GreenGas intake valve on the Airsoft weapon. Look on the underside of the handles or grips, as most Airsofts are so equipped.

    • 2

Turn the GreenGas canister upside down and remove the protective cap from the narrow metal outflow valve.

    • 3

Insert the valve on the canister in the valve on the Airsoft weapon. Press down for approximately two seconds to allow the compressed gas to transfer into the magazine of the Airsoft gun.

    • 4

Place the protective cap back on the GreenGas canister and place the canister in a safe, dark, cool location. Place the cover back on the Airsoft gun's handle.

    • 5

Push the selector switch on the weapon to "active," push the release lever forward and pull back on the magazine release to engage the Airsoft and make it ready for firing.
