How to Install the Back Cover of a Wenger Pocket Watch

Wenger, the company known for Swiss style military knives, makes a travel pocket watch with an alarm. The pocket watch follows the standard design but sits in a hard plastic case to make it ready for rough, rugged conditions. The back of the case snaps into the housing via a slight lip. When assembling the back cover back onto the watch, take care to ensure the rubber gasket is in place and the water resistant qualities are maintained.

Instructions

    • 1

Align the small lip on the case back to the small indentation on the back of the case. This is on the six o'clock position.

    • 2

Look on the inside rim of the Wenger pocket watch back and see the black rubber gasket is in place around the rim.

    • 3

Snap the cover onto the back of the watch and run a finger around the edge, looking for any rises. If a rise is present, use pressure to snap it down into the rim and gasket.

    • 4

Look down the side of the watch to ensure the back cover is snug and flush against the watch with no bumps or rises.
