How to Cover Tarpaulins

Tarpaulins, also called tarps, are frequently used for camping purposes and to cover and protect boats, homes or vehicles. When the task is done and the tarp is no longer needed, it too needs to be properly covered and stored to prevent UV rays from breaking down the tarp material. Prior to storing and covering the tarpaulin, clean it and wash it with a silicone based cleanser.

Things You'll Need

  • Large plastic storage bins
  • Chamois cloths
  • Silicone based cleaner - similar to Armor All
