How to Hook Up a BC to a Scuba Tank
A buoyancy compensator device, or BCD, is in an inflatable vest-type apparatus divers wear to regulate their buoyancy while in the water. The BCD is filled with air supplied by your scuba tank via a buoyancy compensator hose attached to the air regulator. Adjusting the amount of air, by inflating or deflating as necessary, in the BCD can assist you to ascend, descend, remain in place at a certain depth or keep you afloat on the surface.

- Low-pressure buoyancy compensator hose with adapter
- Wrench

Twist the low-pressure buoyancy compensator hose fitting onto an output on the low-pressure regulator and tighten with the wrench.

Connect the adapter on the end of the low-pressure buoyancy compensator hose to the end of the corrugated hose on the buoyancy compensator.

Adjust the buoyancy compensator by pressing the buttons on the buoyancy compensator hose until you have reached the desired buoyancy.
