How to Stand on a Skateboard
Instructions

1
Place the board on a flat asphalt surface. In order to stand on the board, you can't have it rolling down the hill. Find a place that has level ground and rest the board there.
-
2
Find which foot is comfortable for your front foot. When you start skateboarding, a dominant foot will take precedence on the board. Feel which foot is comfortable resting versus pushing the board for momentum. Place that foot over the front bolt or truck.
-
3
Put the remaining foot over the back truck or bolt. You are now completely off the ground and reliant on the physics of nature. Celebrate this moment as you are officially "riding the board."
-
4
Reach a sense of balance now that you are on the board. Take a deep breath and relax. Feel yourself settling into this position on the board. Once you have achieved this, you are officially standing on the skateboard.
