Instructions

      Skateboarder beginning the Casper

Place one foot on the edge of the skateboard deck plate. Place your other foot so it hangs over the side of the board, just above the truck, which is the chassis under the skateboard where the wheels and axles are mounted.

      Completing the Casper movement

Jump while pressing on the rail or outside edge of the board at the same time to flip the skateboard on its side. Balance on the rail that is now perpendicular to the ground. Maintain both the center of gravity on the board and the position of the foot hanging over the edge so it will come down over the wheel when the board lands on its side. Your other foot moves over the other truck.

      Preparing for the next movement

Flip the board to reverse its orientation. Move one foot forward into a comfortable position to catch the board when it begins to reverse. Now prepare for the backward move. Move weight to the board by jumping a little bit. The tip of the board is now around your back foot. Move your front foot under the board to catch it.

Do not let the front foot or the board hit the pavement. Once the board has taken its full rotation for the Casper, then land on the ground and prepare for the next trick.
